GARÚN TOUR 1 HOUR HORSE RIDE

DETAILS: 

The Garún Tour takes you through the infamous Hörgárdalur Valley set under the dramatic Icelandic mountain ranges. See waterfalls and rivers across our volcanic land.

The 1hr will consist of a brief introduction to riding Icelandic horses with some hot coffee or tea. Then we set out for 45mins of riding depending on weather conditions. We then return to Stable Stop for unmounting, photo opportunities with your noble steed and some light refreshments.

REQUIRED CLOTHING:

hiking boots or any general boot, gloves, long pants and multiple layers of clothing you can take off depending on the day’s weather.

GUEST ARRIVAL:

The Garún Tour departs daily from Stable Stop.

Pick up & drop-off can be arranged prior to departure day from Akureyri at an additional fee of €15 per guest return.

Guest need to arrive 15 mins before departure time for helmet fitting.
