Der elegante Seljalandsfoss Wasserfall ist in seiner Art einzigartig, insofern man eigentlich hinter dem abstürzenden herabstürzenden Bach laufen kann, ohne (zu) nass zu werden, für einen einzigartigen Blickwinkel, nach einem Stopp dort geht es weiter zum legendären Thórsmörk-Tal, eingebettet zwischen drei Gletschern, mit einem Stopp am Gígjökull-Gletscher weiter oben im Tal Von dort aus kann man hinauf zum Rand des prächtigen Gletschers Eyjafjallajökull wandern, der in einem Spaltenwirr vom Gipfel eines Vulkans herabsteigt.

Thorsmörk is Iceland‘s most popular hiking area, as visitors cannot fail to be in awe of its natural beauty and captivated by its charm.
