On your way on the Ring Road, you will find Vík í Mýrdal, a cute village in the south of the country. It is a small town with only 300 people, but it is very popular for tourists to visit because of its location. Vík is the home town of the famous Reynisfjara, the Black Sand Beach. A fun fact? Vík is the warmest place in Iceland considering to have a subpolar oceanic climate. So if its winter or summer, Vík is the perfect place for the ones wanting something warmer.
