Skarðsvík Beach

You might think that in Iceland all the beaches you can find are black sanded. Well, Skarðsvík is one exception. The sand has a light yellowish color, and the contrast made by the highlighted lava rocks makes this beach a unique one in the world. But even though all of this is stunning, the most beautiful thing about Skarðvík’s is the color of the ocean. Maybe if you are coming from the Caribbean, you will say its normal, but believe me, the contrast of the light blueish of the sea and the rest of the landscape is breathtaking.
