Reykjavík’s Old Harbor

Located in the center of Reykjavík, the Old Harbor is pure Icelandic history. In 1917 the harbor was opened after only 4 years in the making. Now, it has become one of the hot spots in the city for walking around and finding great places to eat and drink, shopping and admiring some creative works in the few galleries in the area.

You will find the coziest coffeehouse in town called Kaffivagninn. It is the oldest restaurant in Iceland, and the food is delicious. If you want other options, head to Grandi Mathöll. You will have plenty of options to pick from, and all of them are kind of great.
