The museum focuses on different artworks to understand the historic, social, cultural and artistic context of everyone. Erró, Kjarval and Ásmundur Sveinsson are three Icelandic artists that exhibit their work regularly in the museum.

The exhibitions last between three to four months and it includes different types of events and cultural activities around them. Lectures and seminars from famous artistic events such as the Museum Night, Reykjavík Arts Festival, DesignMarch, and Cultural Night take place here.
