We will then stop is Gullfoss falls, also known as the “Golden Falls.” A few theories explain how it got this nickname, one of them being from the golden-brown color of the water on sunny days. The sunshine also produces a rainbow before the falls, creating a perfect photo opportunity.

The next stop after Gulfoss is Kerid Crater. This natural site was formed from a volcano and is colored red from Iron deposits. It is estimated to be 3000 years old.
