Classic Heliskiing – Your first step to adventure. Magical skiing on the Trollpeninsula.

These packages run from one to as many days as one pleases. Summit Heliskiing has a partnership with Norðurflug that has over a decade of heliskiing experience. Their Astar B2 helicopter carries up to 4 guests, pilot and guide. Seats are sold on a per person basis for the skier looking for adventure in a small group of fellow ski enthusiasts.

Enjoy the amenities of the excellent Sóti Lode Hotel. The program focuses on skiing the most iconic peaks surrounding Siglufjörður, Ólafsfjörður, and Fljótin, with the runs chosen by our guide team each morning according to snow and weather conditions.

Please keep in mind that as with all mountain adventure activities, heliskiing entails a certain risk to participants. Please make sure your insurance covers this.

After a good breakfast a safety and helicopter briefing is conducted and the planned day ahead is presented.

A classic Heliskiing day includes approximately 8 runs and 1 hour of helicopter flight.
