Join Sindri for a 3-day photography experience on Iceland’s stunning southeast coast. As a local guide with over a decade of experience, I’ll take you to my favourite photography locations—places that offer iconic views and perspectives most visitors never get to see. This tour is designed to combine adventure, photography, and authentic local experiences, all in a small group setting.
Over the course of three days, we’ll visit some of the most photogenic spots in the South East, including:
In addition, we’ll take a glacier walk to explore the ice up close, which will provide even more incredible photographic opportunities.
The tour begins at Haukafell Camping on the first day at 13:00 (1:00 PM) and concludes around 17:00 (5:00 PM) on the final day. This schedule allows for a mix of daytime exploration and photography during the best light conditions.
One evening, you’ll be invited to my home in Höfn to share a home-cooked meal with my wife, Fanney, and our two children. This is a chance to connect with Icelandic culture and hear stories about the region from a local perspective.
We’ll stay at Haukafell Camping, a remote site beloved by locals for its natural beauty. Accommodations will be in spacious 16m² tents equipped with:
A single-occupancy option is available at an additional cost. Alternative arrangements can be made for those who prefer other accommodations, though this may significantly increase the price. Staying at Haukafell enhances the overall experience by keeping the tour focused on adventure and nature.
This tour is rated easy to moderate. Participants should be able to walk 7–8 kilometres with their photography gear. Please bring:
Small groups ensure a personalized experience, with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 10.
