Láki Tours, offers a unique whale watching tour from Ólafsvík on the boat Íris from 1st April till 15th September.
Nowhere else in Iceland is there a better chance to see the biggest whales of the ocean, than along the Snæfellsnes Peninsula coastline:
Orcas, Sperm, Humpback, Minke and Plot whales plus dolphins and porpoises.
The landscape is magnificent around the Glacier and even more so from sea. The Snæfellsjökull Glacier rises majestically into view from wherever you are on the ocean, competing with the wonderful sight of breaching whales.
Svörtuloft, Öndverðarnes, Keflavík and Skarðsvík are the areas of the National Park coastline we will sail around in search of these magnificent mammals.
