Svalvogar Peninsula
Svalvogar Peninsula
We'll take you under the sharp cliffs of the Svalvogar peninsula. This unique and thrilling jeep trail is only open for a few months of the year and offers the essence of the Westfjords experience: intimidating mountains, panoramic fjordviews, seasonal waterfalls, diverse fauna, abandoned farms & beautiful wildlife.
Driver guided super minivan tour
The tour does not require any hiking ability but you must be comfortable with moderate heights and cliffhanging roads. People with walking difficulties will have limited options for walks, because the road surface and surroundings are rarely smooth. This tour is not recommended for children under 6 years old.
If you choose the mountain hiking add-on, then good fitness and some hiking experience is required. You must be comfortable with ascending and descending a few hundred meters during the day on rough and uneven terrain which can be steep at times. The minimum recommended age for mountain hiking is 12 years old, although we can customise the experience for active children between 6-11.
