Got a rental car and want to walk on a glacier? Perfect.
This easy glacier hike is the ideal stop if you’re driving the South Coast and want to stretch your legs on ancient ice, learn something new, and have fun doing it – with your new favorite guide, of course.
Meet us right at the parking lot of Sólheimajökull, where we’ll get you geared up with crampons, helmets, and an ice axe. Don’t worry – we’ll show you how to use everything. Then it’s off onto the glacier for a small-group adventure filled with epic views, icy formations, and surprisingly fun facts about this frozen beast.
Our guides are certified pros (and low-key hilarious), so you’ll be safe, entertained, and probably have a new go-to Instagram photo by the end.
