Ride along the lowlands of the South Coast and along waterfalls and steep cliffs toward the fishing village Vík; the southernmost village in Iceland.
Visit the stunning, dangerous Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, have a view towards the Sólheimajökull Glacier and over it´s young glacier lagoon.
If you´re in for an exercise, you call walk up the stairs to see the Skógafoss from above, and walk behind the extraordinary Seljalandsfoss waterfall (if conditions allow).

- Skógafoss
The beautifull Skógafoss “Forrest-waterfall” leading meltwater from the Glaciers Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull towards the south shores of Iceland.
- Fishing village Vík, the southernmost village of Iceland.
Lunch-break in a little shopping mall in Vík, with a bakery, restaurant, supermarket and (clothing) shops.
- Reynisfjara "Black Sand Beach"
A visit to the black sand and the basaltic columns next to the beach at the famous -or infamous?- Black Sand Beach a few miles away from Vík.
Enjoy the waves of the ocean, but don´t get caught by them!
- Sólheimajökull Glacier
A short hike to a viewing point, overlooking the glacial lagoon and towards the outlet-glacier Sólheimajökull
- Seljalandsfoss
Last stop on the way back to Reykjavík/Capital area a stop at the Seljalandsfoss, the waterfall where you can walk behind (if conditions allows).
Bring warm/waterproof clothes/rain jackets etc.
Wear layers as weather conditions are usually unpredictable and can change quickly
Crampons in icy conditions
