This ATV quad 90 minute +/-  tour takes you in a small group to see the Northern Lights area by the beautiful Hafravatn lake and Mount Hafrafell. If the conditions are good you will also have a great view over Reykjavik, Mosfellsbær and other towns close by. We will try to see some stars and some Shooting Stars to make a wish for perhaps endless whishes. if we have to wait for the Northern Lights to show up we are like worlds away but still so close. Join this tour for a unique experience of driving an ATV at night to hunt for the Northern Lights. Maximum online bookable for 8 people.

It is good to Book at one of the first days you are here in Iceland so you have the flexibility to go on a day with the best weather and activity conditions.
If the weather is not good, we cancel the tour and allow rescheduling or refund if you can not reschedule for another day.

If the weather is good but conditions are not good for the Northern Lights, we do the trip but contact people and ask them if they want to go or not.

If customer decides to go on the tour then he can NOT go again no matter if he sees the lights or not. Even if the Northern Light's are not be seen, it is fun to go on the ATV's into the night to hunt for the lights.

We pick-up from all hotels in the Reykjavik area if it is possible. But note that the Reykjavik city has made a non-pickup zones for tourist in the downtown so we pick up from special tourists bus stops over there. The nearest Tourists Bus stop is usually not far away.

Pickup is free but it is ok to give a little tip.

You can see on www.busstop.is the bus stop that is closest to where you are staying.

If you decide to meet us at the meeting point our basecamp is only 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik.

Riding time can be flexible during weather and the activity of the Northern Lights

Two can ride on each quad and prices are per person. You must book solo ride for single riders and to book the shared ride you must be two participants.
So if there is a odd number in the group you must book at least one solo ride in the tour.

You pay as a child up to 17 years old and you need a driving license to drive.

All you need is a drivers license warm and good socks and shoes and warm clothes, we provide riding gear, helmets and gloves.
Double Ride is the standard rate in this tour and that means two people on each quad if you do not select "Single Ride" in the booking progress for little extra.

• The newest phones can capture the Northern Lights but not the old one. 
• We recommend Iphone 11 or better, the new Google phone and other with night mode or adjustion with few seconds open shutter mode.
