Indulge in a remarkable and unforgettable experience by spending a night in a secluded mountain cabin close to Reykjavik. The cabin's location in a picturesque and tranquil setting provides the perfect escape from city life, enabling visitors to immerse themselves in Iceland's serene and unspoiled nature.

The adventure starts with our 4×4 vehicle picking you up from Reykjavik metropolitan area, and taking you towards Thingvellir National Park, where the oldest parliament in the world was founded. From there, we gear up (helmets and lights) and take a wonderful tour to the underground world as we visit one of the Lava caves in the area. Lava caves are nothing like limestone caves which you will experience on this tour.

Following the lava cave experience, we embark on an exhilarating off-road journey, on Iceland's rugged landscapes. Our journey concludes with an overnight stay at the mountain cabin, providing visitors with comfortable and cozy amenities to recharge after an exciting day of exploration. The cabin, though rustic and simple, offers a chance to savor a delicious mountain meal on a BBQ and breathtaking views of the mountains and either the midnight sun in summer or Northern Lights in winter. Sleeping in a mountain cabin close to Reykjavik offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, and the experience is bound to create fond and everlasting memories

We will take you to “Thingvellir” national park and just outside the park we will visit a lava tube (or as some would like to say: lava tunnel). The Mountain Hut (sleepover)

The Drop Off
Once we are out of the bunk, we have some simple breakfast and head back to Reykjavik where we will drop you off at your preferred location. Our ride back is relatively short, less than one hour.
