Laugarás Lagoon is the Golden Circle’s newest attraction, Iceland´s most popular tourism route, which includes Geysir, Gullfoss, and Þingvellir National Park. Nestled among the mountains and overlooking the Hvítá River, the exquisite two -story lagoon envelopes guests in its warm geothermal water, perfectly balanced with the landscape. During the visit guests can also plunge into a cold pool or spend some time in one of our two elegant saunas.

Guests can cap off their day dining at Ylja Restaurant, our in-house eatery led by renowned Icelandic chef Gísli Matt. This seasonal menu features ingredients sourced from local farms, fisheries, and greenhouses.

Children from the age of 8 are welcome to visit our lagoon. However, children aged 7 and younger are not allowed in the lagoon. All ages are welcome  to dine at Ylja Restaurant.
