At Þingvellir, you will witness the visible boundaries of the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates as they slowly diverge, causing the land between them to sink.

✓ Geysir Geothermal Area – The drive through the mountains to reach the geothermal hot spring area surrounding Geysir is great in itself.
