Visit the glacier lagoon on the south coast, the deepest lake in Iceland with 280 meters deep.
Large chunks of ice from Europe’s largest glacier fall into the lake and can be found floating around the lake. There is a boat that offers trips around the lake for a fee.

Vatnajökull (pronounced vatnajökull) is the largest ice mass in Iceland. It is situated in the southeast area of the island, covering more than 8% of the country. With its 8,100 km², it is the second largest ice mountain in Europe in terms of area is the largest in terms of volume. The thickness of the ice can reach 1000 meters

    The lagoon with it’s floating ice bergs providing an exceptional scenery and photo opportunities. The lagoon has been the shooting location of multiple Hollywood movies. You can enjoy an amphibian boat ride or a more exciting Zodiac boat ride on the lagoon amongst the ice bergs.

  • Reynisfjara (Black sand beach) and Dyrhólaey

    Reynisfjara beach is renowned for it’s black sand and basalt columns. On the shoreline you’ll see rock pillars rising up from the ocean. At cape Dyrhólaey you are in excellent opportunity to meet puffins up close.

  • Seljalandsfoss Waterfall

    This narrow waterfall has a cave behind it so this is an opportunity to walk behind a waterfal. In heavy winds the waterfall will blow and fall sideways.

  • Skógar

    Skógar is a beautiful farmland that’s home to both a local folk museum and an immense and powerful waterfall Skógafoss.
