- Glacier Lagoon, Jökulsárlón, located in the Vatnajökull national park. The lagoon is made up of meltwater from the massive glacier, Vatnajökull, and is everchanging from the force of the glacier retreats. When the ice breaks away from the glacier it wanders through the lagoon and towards the ocean, a truly astonishing sight.

- Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, with a drop of more than 60 meters and a width of 25 meters, and you can walk right up to, but be prepared to be drenched.
- Seljalandsfoss is one of the best-known waterfalls in Iceland. It is 65 meters tall and it is breathtaking.
