  • Glacier Lagoon, Jökulsárlón, located in the Vatnajökull national park. The lagoon is made up of meltwater from the massive glacier, Vatnajökull, and is everchanging from the force of the glacier retreats. When the ice breaks away from the glacier it wanders through the lagoon and towards the ocean, a truly astonishing sight.
  • Black Sand Beach, Reynisfjara, known for its dark sand, beautiful view, dangerous waves and fascinating cliffs and rocks.
  • Skógafoss is one of the biggest waterfalls in Iceland, with a drop of more than 60 meters and a width of 25 meters, and you can walk right up to, but be prepared to be drenched.
  • Seljalandsfoss is one of the best-known waterfalls in Iceland. It is 65 meters tall and it is breathtaking. A path leads you behind the waterfall, but do bring a raincoat as you will get soaking wet from the drizzle. It is fantastic walking behind Seljalandsfoss, especially on a sunny day when one can catch a rainbow.
  • Vatnajökull, also known as the Water Glacier in English, is the largest and most voluminous ice cap in Iceland.
  • Dyrhólaey, formerly known by seamen as Cape Portland, is a small promonotory located on the south coast of Iceland, not far from the village Vík. It was formerly an island of volcanic origin, which is also known by the Icelandic word eyja meaning island
  • The Diamond Beach is a strip of black sand belonging to the greater Breiðamerkursandur glacial plain, located by Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon on the South Coast of Iceland. Here, the icebergs which fill Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon wash up on shore, standing dazzling and defiant in stark contrast to the black sand beach.
  • Black Sand Beach, Reynisfjara, known for its dark sand, beautiful view, dangerous waves and fascinating cliffs and rocks.
  • We are stopping here by the fascinating old curch of Vík, for an exceptional view from above the town, enjoying the Blacksand beach and Reynisdrangar cliffs.
