GG3 Whales & Horses

Experience the combination of the traditional GG1 Whale Watching and the countryside riding tour. Enjoy the great view of Skjálfandi Bay on an Icelandic horse with experienced riders at your side. The horse riding is suitable for beginners as well as experienced riders and starts in Saltvík Farm, which is just four minutes by car from Húsavík harbour.

It is assumed that riders are beginners with no or little experience in horse riding and suitable horses are chosen accordingly. If you have more experience in horse riding, please contact Saltvík directly before to your tour via saltvik@saltvik.is or +354 847 9515 to get a suitable horse

Bring warm and waterproof clothes, footwear, hats and gloves and protective bags for cameras as it can be very cold at sea. Warm safety overalls are included on board and are put on top of other layers.
