ATV Reykjavik Adventure and View

In the "ATV Reykjavik Adventure and view" tour we take you into the wilderness of Reykjavik to hidden long forgotten walleys and up to the top of the Reykjavik hills where riders can enjoy a magnificent view over the volcanos on the rift between the Tectonic plates and the Big Capital area of Smokey bay – Reykjavik. Maybe we also will see some Icelandic horses or sheeps close to the track. Depending on the conditions, we stop at several different places to take pictures and learn a little about the area and the Icelandic nature. Riding time around 2 hours and about 3 hours with pickup and drop off. Maximum bookable online for 8 people or 20 people by request.

We pick-up from all hotels in the Reykjavik area if it is possible. But note that the Reykjavik city has made a non-pickup zones for tourist in the downtown so we pick up from special tourists bus stops over there. The nearest Tourists Bus stop is usually not far away.

You can see on www.busstop.is the bus stop that is closest to where you are staying.

If you decide to meet us at the meeting point our basecamp is only in 20 minutes drive from downtown Reykjavik.

Two can ride on each quad and prices are per person. You must book solo ride for single riders and to book the shared ride you must be two participants. So if there is a odd number in the group you must book at least one solo ride in the tour.

You pay as a child up to 17 years old and you need a fully valid driving license to drive.

All you need is a Full Drivers License and good shoes.
We provide Riding gear, -warm, wind and waterproof overalls- , Helmets and Gloves.
We offer free pickup at any Hotel Bus stops in Reykjavík.
We are a small, family run Small Group Adventure firm and our Quadbikes are only 20 min from downtown Reykjavík.

ATV Reykjavik 2 Hour
The Super View tour takes you to Hafravatn beautiful lake and up to the Reykjavik peak for a magnificent view over the Capital and the towns close to Reykjavik. Before we go up we take a little drive for horses, pictures and in a good day you can perhaps see the lava that came from volcano very close to Hafnarfjordur and if we are lucky we can see the Glacier Snæfellsjölull and the Mountain in Reykjanes Peninsula that have been shaking and erupting last years. Riding time around 2 hours or about 3.5 hours with pickup and drop off. You go shared ride if you do not select Solo ride in the booking progress. That means you go with your travel partner on the ATV. All drivers need fully valid driving license.

You need valid driving license to drive, and in the wintertime you will need all the warm layers of warm clothes and socks you have, your warmest gloves, buff or scarf and good shoes.

We provide rain- and wind proof riding gear, helmets and gloves and you can buy hand and shoe warmers at the base.
