On this tour we visit 6 waterfalls in one day, Goðafoss, Aldeyjarfoss, Hrafnabjargarfossar, Dettifoss, Selfoss and Hafragilsfoss.
We start from the Mývatn Activity -Hike&Bike office at 8:30am and head for Goðafoss the waterfall of the gods.
After Goðafoss we take a gravelroad to Aldeyjarfoss and later Hrafnabjargarfossar both of which are at the edge of the central highlands of Iceland.
Then we drive to Mývatn area and continue to Dettifoss waterfall in the Vatnajökull national park.
From the parking at Dettifoss we hike to the huge waterfall (the largest waterfall in Europe in terms of water volume).
After that we then hike to Selfoss a smaller but very interresting waterfall. After hiking back to the car we then drive to Hafragilsfoss the last waterfall on the tour, there we have a great view of the Jökulsárgljúfur canyon.
Hiking on the tour is relatively easy and is about 6 kilometres in total.
 
Please make sure you bring food and drinks, warm clothes and good hiking shoes.
