We take off from Reykjavik Airport and head into Hvalfjördur to check out Gymur waterfall, one of Iceland's highest waterfalls with a cascade of 198 meters. From the comfort of the helicopter, you will get to enjoy the beautiful mossy canyons and massive waterfall, without all the strenuous hiking you would otherwise have to embark on.

Once everyone has gotten a great view of the waterfall, we head on over to Langjökull Glacier for our landing. Here you will enjoy the unique calmness and incredible mountain views surrounding the glacier while you take a deep breath of crisp glacier air.

After our glacier landing, we head past the 9000-year-old shield volcano Skjaldbreiður and follow the continental rift to Þingvellir national park. Þingvellir is a part of the famous Golden Circle route and known for the Alþingi, the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries, and for sitting in a rift valley caused by the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates which is best viewed from above.

From Þingvellir we fly over Bláfjöll mountain range on the Reykjanes Peninsula on our way to the 2021 Fagradalsfjall volcano, and other eruption areas that came after that on the Peninsula. The 2021 eruption lasted for six months, creating a large lava plateau and numerous craters, and after that, several more eruptions took place.  It is now believed that the Reykjanes Peninsula is awake again after being dormant for 800 years and we are witnessing the beginning of an eruption period that can last for years to come.   On this flight you get to explore the area from the air, getting a bird's eye view of the whole area.
