A Super Jeep Excursion

Small groups of max 10 passengers

To get to Þórsmörk we need to cross countless rivers in our Super Jeep.

Þórsmörk is an area between the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull and Tindfjallajökull.

Due to the high surrounding volcanoes covered by glaciers, the valley is sheltered from the coastal wind, and the countless glacial rivers one has to cross shelters the area from the traffic of visitors. This makes Þórsmörk a paradise for hikers and nature enthusiasts, and off-road fans will love the challenge of crossing the rivers.

On the way we will pass the former Gígjökull´s glacial lagoon that was filled with volcanic material during the Eyjafjallajökull eruption in April 2010. We will also pass the waterfall Seljalandsfoss, the cultivated South and the active Hengill volcano.
