If you visit Iceland for the first time, you cannot miss „The Golden Circle.” This iconic route represents one of Iceland’s most famous day tours. Due to the very close distance, 250 km (155 miles), the Golden Circle perfectly fits every schedule. We will hike around the crater of an extinct volcano and experience geyser eruptions. There will also be time for relaxing and soaking in the oldest thermal pool in Iceland. We will visit the Gullfoss waterfall and stay for lunch at the Friðheimar geothermal greenhouse. Dining among tomato plants is a unique food experience you will never forget. In addition, you will learn about the origins of Icelandic settlement in the birthplace of Icelandic democracy-Þingvellir National Park.
