The best thing about south coast of Iceland is it gets better and better with every place you visit next. Go and explore some of Icelands finest waterfalls, black sand beach, trolls, elves and volcanoes. Taste the Viking whiskey named after one of the first Vikings to set foot on Iceland.
After being picked up from a place of your choice in Reykjavik, you will head out in this awesome journey with your private guide.
Your first stop is Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This is truly a magical one. You can walk behind it and see on sunny days a rainbow appear on the other side of it. Bring your rain jacket though, because you could get wet by walking behind it.
Skógafoss waterfall is no less nature magic. It is believed there is a treasure hidden underneath it. Come and here the story about it and if someone has really found it.
Cape Dyrhóley has a great Puffin colony. The puffins are only during summer time though. Standing on top of this old island and seeing the black sand beach on each side, the powerful volcano Katla and breathing the fresh air from the North Atlantic ocean is absolutely amzing.
The Black Sand Beach or Reynisfjara with its basaltic rocks in the mountain towering over the beach is absolutely surreal. See the old troll that has turned into stone out in the ocean towing a 3 mast ship to shore.
We offer the option to visit the Lava Exhibition and learn the history of volcanoes in Iceland. This is high tech exhibition which makes you feel like you are in the middle of a huge eruption with live earthquakes and live eruptions.
