See the Golden Circle from the seat of a Super Jeep. This private tour covers Iceland's classic route in a raised 4×4 built for Icelandic roads and weather, with your own driver-guide and no one else on board.

Your group gets a dedicated driver-guide and a vehicle that belongs entirely to you for the day. No fixed pace, no waiting for other passengers, no compromises.

At Þingvellir National Park you walk through the rift between the North American and Eurasian plates and see Öxarárfoss waterfall. On the way to Geysir you stop to say hello to Icelandic horses. In the Haukadalur geothermal area Strokkur erupts every few minutes, and at Gullfoss glacial water thunders into a deep canyon. The day ends at Kerið, a volcanic crater with red slopes and a blue lake.

Throughout the day your driver-guide shares stories, sagas and practical tips about Iceland's nature, history and culture.

Full details of each stop are in the itinerary. Pick-up and drop-off anywhere in the Capital Area, including the cruise terminals, is included. The order of stops may be adjusted on the day due to weather or road conditions.

Pick-up in the Capital Area
Your driver-guide picks you up at your accommodation anywhere in the Capital Area, or at your cruise terminal, and you head straight into the Golden Circle in your private Super Jeep.
Þingvellir National Park
Walk through the rift between the North American and Eurasian plates, where Iceland's first parliament met more than a thousand years ago, and see Öxarárfoss waterfall tumbling over the lava cliffs.
Icelandic Horses
On the way from Þingvellir to Geysir you stop by a field of Icelandic horses. Small, sturdy and famously friendly, they have lived here since the Viking Age and often come over to the fence to say hello.
Geysir Geothermal Area
Steam vents and bubbling pools surround Strokkur, which erupts every few minutes and sends boiling water high into the air, right next to the Great Geysir that gave every geyser its name.
Gullfoss Waterfall
Glacial water thunders down two wide steps into a deep canyon, often with a rainbow in the mist. Walk the viewpoints at your own pace.
Kerið Crater
A volcanic crater with steep red slopes and a still blue lake at its base. Walk the rim for the full view, or follow the path down to the water.

Arriving by cruise ship? This is a long day, so please check your ship's all-aboard time before you book. We plan the start time and the route around it, so you are back at the port well before all-aboard time.

Walking and accessibility

The Super Jeep sits high, so you should be able to climb in and out on your own. The walks are short, on uneven paths that can be wet or icy, so the tour is not suitable for guests with serious mobility limitations.
