The wonderful South Coast and majestic Jökulsárlón, completed with a thrilling glacier hike. An overnight adventure tour that includes an exploration of the South Coast, a trip to the amazing Jökulsárlón and ends with a fascinating glacier hike on Svínafellsjökull glacier, the southwestern outlet of the Vatnajökull ice cap. On the first day we’ll encounter lush farmlands, powerful volcanos, glaciers and majestic waterfalls before moving on to Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, a truly unique natural phenomenon favored by photographers and filmmakers the world over for its surreal and ever-changing beauty. We then arrive at Gerði Country Hotel, where we rest up for the night and dinner is available for purchase.

The second day starts with a trip to Svínafellsjökull glacier, for a two-hour walk through the heart of a spectacular landscape with expansive views over roughhewn mountains and iceblue glacier fields. It’s a fantastic opportunity for stunning photographs. On the way back we drop by Seljalandsfoss waterfall, one of the most iconic images of the South Coast.
