You do NOT need a certificate for this tour. Beginners enjoy as much as advanced freedivers, so don´t worry about that. Only need to know how to swim.

Freedive Silfra in wetsuits between continents in best visibility with the best freedive gear available! Silfra is on of TOP freedive places in the world. Visibility is 100+ on most days.

We pick you up in Reykjavik area and drive to Silfra park and get ready, walk to Silfra (2min) and you get all info needed for the tour, go over safety rules and what best to know, get in and enjoy the silent and vast scinery. Our goal is to have fun and give you the experience of a lifetime. You can stay in Silfra as long as you want to. Our goal is your enjoyment. When you finish you will get a well welcomed hot cocoa to drink.

After Silfra we drive on through the park and into south side of iceland, through country roads and to Fontana geothermal pools for a nice bath in 38-40 c° warm water with breathtaking surroundings. an hour in this pool will make everything good. Afterwards we start to drive back to Reykjavik.

All equipment needed for freediving, entrance fees to Silfra and Fontana pool and spa, Hot cocoa after dive, Warm overcoats (Dryrobes) before and after dive, Professional guidence.

Silfra is one of top freedive places in th world and situeated in Thingvellir (A unesco world heritage site) It is only about 50 km. from Reykjavik. Silfra is a freshwater voncanic fissure about 60 meters deep with 100+ vizibility. the water is so clear that freediving in it feels like flying. Freediving in 7mm freedive suit provides all the protection needed from the cold.

Freedive Iceland is the only Icelandic company offering freediving tours in silfra accompanied by a certified freedive professionals and we can assure you that freediving with us will be a memorable experience. Instead of just floating heavily on the surface as when snorkeling in drysuits you will be able to freedive into the fissure. No freediving experience or license is needed. For those taking part in our tours and are over +65 years young. It is mandatory to have a certificate from your doctor about your health.

After the freedive we drive to the Secret lagoon wich is a hot thermal pool located at Flúðir, a small town in south of Iceland. There you can relax in raw icelandic nature and enjoy the warm waters.

After you have stayed in the 38-40 C° water for an hour we head back to Reykjavik.

We like to have fun in the water, and for that you also need to have fun. So we have the same goal.
