Explore the stunning and unique Reykjanes Peninsula with us! We’ll see and learn all about the local geology, volcanology, geothermal formations, mud pools, and hot springs! After a day of exploring, unwind in the world famous Blue Lagoon! A comfort ticket to the Blue lagoon is included, including entrance, towels, a complimentary drink and silica mask. The ticket can be upgraded to Premium (adding slippers, robe and algae mask), or luxury. For an upgrade, please contact us!

9:00 AM – REYKJAVÍK
Pick up at your accommodation around 9.00 AM, or meet us at bus stop number 8, Hallgrímskirkja Church, at around 9.00 AM. We will start our journey by driving through thrilling lava field on our way to the Reykjanes Peninsula.

KLEIFARVATN LAKE
We drive past the Lake Kleifarvatn, which is a Lake formed solely by plate tectonics and rifting of the earth crust, the Eurasian and North American plates away from each other.

SELTÚN, GEOTHERMAL AREA
Stop at the Seltún geothermal area. At Seltún, the geothermal activity brings to the surface bubbling mud pools and steaming ground and colorful solfataras. The beautiful colours are due to sulphur and white and yellowish brown sulphates are deposited.

GUNNUHVER HOT SPRING
A drive to one of the hottest places in Iceland, Gunnuhver. The temperature below the surface amount to about 300° C at this hot spring. Gunnuhver, is named after a female ghost, named Gunna, that was laid there.

BRIDGE BETWEEN TWO CONTINENTS
A visit to the bridge between two continents. The bridge is a small footbridge over a major fissure, which is formed by tectonics and rifting of the two continental plates, Eurasian and North American plates, from each other.

BLUE LAGOON
The day tour ends in the relaxing atmosphere in the Blue Lagoon.

4:00 PM – REYKJAVÍK
We drive from the Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík.

Bring warm and waterproof clothes, gloves and headwear and good shoes, preferably hiking boots.

A camera is always good to have.

Please remember bathing suit! Bathing suit can be rented at the Blue Lagoon. You will get towel at the Blue Lagoon.

Please note that there is a 2 year age limit for entering into the Blue Lagoon.

Meet us at bus stop number 8, next to Hallgrímskirkja church downtown Reykjavík.
