Discover the Reykjanes Peninsula with a guided tour showcasing its natural wonders and cultural highlights.

Reykjanes peninsula was re recognized as UNESCO Geopark in 2015. Geoparks are areas that contain monuments and landscapes of global geological importance. The area is therefore managed according to a holistic policy of protection, education and sustainable development. The peninsula is the only place in the world where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is visible above sea level.

Tour Highlights:

  • Kleifarvatn Lake: It is the largest lake of Reykjanes peninsula and one of Iceland's deepest lakes, about 97 m deep.
  • Seltún Geothermal Area: Lot of clay, sulfur and other materials that give a colorful appearance.
  • Bridge of Continents: Bridge between Europe and North America.
  • Gunnuhver: Iceland´s largest mud pool at present prominent.
