Reykjanes Peninsula
The Reykjanes Peninsula is truly a sight to behold, boasting a unique otherworldly charm. As a highly volcanically active region and Geopark, it has experienced three consecutive years of volcanic eruptions.
Our journey will take us through this magnificent area, where we'll explore Djúpavatn, an ancient volcanic crater, and the charming fishing village of Grindavík. Prepare to be mesmerised by the Reykjanes lighthouse and the breathtaking seacliffs at Reykjanestá, offering stunning vistas of the North Atlantic and Eldey Island.
On our way back to Reykjavík, we'll make a stop at the invigorating hot springs of Krísuvík, and we'll also savor the beauty of Kleifarvatn Lake. A unique photo opportunity awaits in a place that closely resembles the red, rocky terrain of Mars, showcasing its desolate and surreal beauty.
As the tour concludes, we'll unwind at one of the city's many public pools, where participants can indulge in bathing and relish the warmth of the water before being returned to their designated stop. Experience the wonders of the Reykjanes Peninsula and create cherished memories on this remarkable adventure!
