From Reykjavik we will make our way towards the cliffs of southern Iceland. Our first stop will be at Seljalandfoss, the famous waterfall that travelers can walk behind, and its impressive neighbor, Gljúfrabúi, or the hidden waterfall, that does not often appear in guidebooks. As we travel along the coast we will pass Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano that caused chaos in European air traffic in 2010.

We will continue our southern route to Skógafoss, a waterfall that measures 60 meters high and 25 meters wide and is one of the biggest in Iceland. Here we will have the chance to enjoy the surrounding area and climb to the waterfall's highest point. Our next stop will be in Reynisfjara, a black-sand beach that boasts impressive basaltic rock formations and views of the famous trolls that, according to legend, were petrified when caught in the sea at sunrise.

Dyrhólaey will be our final stop of the day, and from this lookout point high above the sea we will observe interesting lava formations as well as large puffin colonies that nest here in the summer months (mid-June to mid-August).

This is a unique day tour to several spectacular sites along Iceland´s South Coast. You don't want to miss it!
