If you come to Iceland in the wintertime, for sure, you would like to experience the Northern Lights.
They are undoubtedly the most beautiful thing that can be seen in nature during the dark hours of the day.
To see the Northern Lights, you will need two things: Patience and Luck. The luckier you are, the less patient you will need to be!
Northern Lights are only visible when the sky is clear and there is no cloud cover. Basically, if you can see the stars, you can see the Northern Lights. That is, if they happen! And this is when luck and patience come into play. Even with the best conditions, eventually, all you have to do is wait and gaze at the sky!
Our professional guides will look up weather forecasts to determine in which area our chances of seeing the Northern Lights are the best. We will also always do our best to take you away from all the other tours in big buses. However, roads and weather conditions during the winter months can limit the choice of location that your guide will have.
We will serve you hot drinks to help to keep you warm, but we highly recommend that you also prepare yourself with;
