This guided tour takes you on a journey through some of Iceland's most popular and beloved sweet treats.
The tour begins with a visit to a local bakery where you can sample traditional Icelandic pastries, such as kleina, a deep-fried doughnut-like pastry, and snúður, a sweet cinnamon roll.
You'll learn about the history of these treats and how the bakers themselves make them.
Next, you'll visit a specialty chocolate shop to indulge in some of the finest Icelandic chocolates. You'll discover the unique flavors and ingredients that make Icelandic chocolate stand out from the rest, such as birch sugar and wild berries.
The tour also includes visiting a local ice cream parlor to taste some of the creamiest and most delicious ice creams you'll ever try. You can choose from various flavors, including some unique to Iceland, like licorice and skyr.
Finally, the tour ends with a stop at a famous candy shop where you can indulge in various Icelandic candies and sweets, such as the iconic "Draumur" chocolate bar or the delicious combo of Licorice and chocolate called Þristur.
