Experience the highlights of the most popular tour in Iceland along with all the hidden secret stops we can suggest to you in a private tour.

Nowhere in the world quite capture the very essence of raw, wild nature as Iceland. With our private tour to the Golden Circle, we will take in the beauty of the Icelandic countryside and we will venture through the scenic nature's most breathtaking sights:  amazing waterfalls, geothermal areas, a surprising geyser, a glacier, a rift valley created by the drifting apart of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates

The first stop will be Thingvellir, which was Iceland parliaments’ site from 930 A.D. One can marvel at the gap between continents, view the ever impressing lava fields stretching endlessly as it seems and take in the culture and history of Iceland.

The Geyser is a massive experience. To witness the power of boiling hot water rush out of the ground to erupt up to 6 meters every 5 minutes or so is something that should be on everyone´s bucket list.

Gullfoss waterfall has both very historical significance as well as being significant by itself. The mass of water running is very impressive and one can loose track of time staring into the waterfall.

One of the following activities can be added to the Golden Circle tour, please contact us before making the booking and we will send you a quote:

Secret Lagoon: “Gamla Laugin” recently named Secret Lagoon is the best place to avoid the crowds. It was formed in 1891 and is, therefore, one of the oldest pools in the country. It has a constant temperature of 38/40 °C, thanks to the hot waters from surrounding geothermal activity.

Blue Lagoon: The warm milky-blue water of this lagoon is rich in minerals like silica and sulfur and bathing in it is healthy for your skin. So, you will not only be enjoying the pleasant temperatures (which are between 37°C and 39°C) and recreation of this swimming area, but you will also be nurturing your skin in this amazing mineral concentration. Here you can choose between 3 different packages.

Snowmobiling: We will meet the Mountaineers of Iceland Team at the Gulfoss Cafe. There you will head into a super truck to drive through a Mars-like landscape until you reach the glacier. Once arrived at the mountain hut you will get dressed up and the guides introduce you to the snowmobiles. After a short safety briefing, you ride off into the wondrous winter wonderland.

Dress according to the weather. The weather can and does change rapidly in our country so take a look at the forecast https://en.vedur.is/. It might be a good idea to bring an extra sweater or jacket, there is room for it in the car even if you never have to wear it. Also, wear practical shoes.
