• Kerið Crater

  Kerið — a striking volcanic crater filled with vivid blue-green water, framed by red lava rock. Unlike most craters, it’s easily accessible, letting you walk right along the rim or descend to the lake below. A colorful, photogenic stop unique to Iceland’s landscape

• Gullfoss Waterfall

  Gullfoss — the ‘Golden Falls’ that give the Golden Circle its name. Here, glacial water from Langjökull plunges in two dramatic tiers into a rugged canyon, sending spray high into the air. On sunny days, rainbows often form in the mist, making this one of Iceland’s most iconic and unforgettable sights.

• Geysir Hot Spring & Lunch

  Geysir Geothermal Area — the original home of the word ‘geyser.’ Although the Great Geysir itself is now mostly dormant, nearby Strokkur erupts every few minutes, shooting steaming water up to 30 meters skyward. The bubbling pools and sulfur-scented steam vents make this a living showcase of Iceland’s geothermal power.

• Þingvellir National Park

  Þingvellir — a UNESCO World Heritage Site where nature and history meet. Walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates in Almannagjá gorge, and stand on the site where Iceland’s first parliament, the Alþingi, was founded in 930 AD. A place of breathtaking beauty and immense cultural importance.

• Arrival at Hvassafell II Family Farmstay

  Hvassafell — your countryside home in West Iceland. After a day of exploring, arrive at our family farm for an evening of country romance: cuddle our sheep, hug our gentle horses, and feel the calm of rural life. • Northern Lights Hunt (winter only)

  If the skies are clear, you may be treated to one of Iceland’s most magical experiences — the Northern Lights. While we can’t guarantee their appearance, our farm is an excellent viewing spot with minimal light pollution. With just a short 5-minute drive, we can reach complete darkness, giving you the chance to enjoy the spectacle in perfect solitude. We promise to do our very best to chase the lights and find the best conditions so you have every chance to witness this unforgettable natural wonder.

• Morning at the Farm

  Begin the day with a hearty farm-fresh breakfast before departure. Spend time revisiting the horses, saying good morning to the sheep, or enjoying a peaceful walk around the countryside. With a relaxed 10:00 AM departure, there’s plenty of time to soak in the quiet charm of farm life before the day’s adventures continue.

• Glanni Waterfall

  Glanni Waterfall — a hidden gem of West Iceland, where a broad cascade tumbles over ancient lava rocks. Legend says it’s the home of elves and trolls, adding a touch of magic to this peaceful stop.

• Grábrók Crater

  Grábrók Crater — an easy hike with a big reward. Climb the wooden steps to the rim of this ancient volcanic crater and enjoy sweeping views over lava fields and valleys of West Iceland. A unique chance to walk atop a volcano.

• Deildartunguhver Hot Spring

  Deildartunguhver — Europe’s most powerful hot spring, where steaming water gushes from the earth. 

• Hraunfossar & Barnafossar Waterfalls

  Hraunfossar — unlike any other waterfall in Iceland, where glacial rivers emerge from beneath a vast lava field, cascading in countless streams across black volcanic rock. A unique, dreamlike sight you won’t find anywhere else in the country.

• Arrival at Hvassafell II Family Farmstay

  After exploring the Silver Circle, return to our family farm for your last night in the countryside. Enjoy the flexibility of cooking in your private apartment or dining at a nearby restaurant. Spend some time with the horses and sheep, relax in the quiet surroundings, and savor one more evening of farm life.

• Morning at the Farm

  Begin the day with a hearty farm-fresh breakfast before setting out to explore the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called “Iceland in Miniature.” Highlights include the dramatic cliffs of Arnarstapi, the black-sand beach at Djúpalónssandur, the striking black church at Búðir, and the famous Kirkjufell mountain, known from Game of Thrones. After a full day of discovery, enjoy a comfortable drive back to Reykjavík in the evening.

• Kirkjufell Mountain

  Kirkjufell — Iceland’s most photographed mountain, rising sharply from the sea with a graceful symmetry that looks almost unreal. Framed by nearby waterfalls, it’s a picture-perfect stop and a true icon of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Fans of Game of Thrones may recognize it as the ‘Arrowhead Mountain,’ featured in the series.

• Djúpalónssandur Black Beach

  Djúpalónssandur — a hauntingly beautiful black-sand beach scattered with lava formations and the remains of a shipwreck. Once a bustling fishing site, today it invites you to test your strength on the traditional ‘lifting stones’ and soak in its dramatic coastal scenery.

• Arnarstapi

  Arnarstapi — a charming fishing village with dramatic sea cliffs and natural stone arches. A coastal walk here offers sweeping views, seabird colonies, and a sense of Iceland’s rugged connection between land and sea.

• Búðir

  Búðir — home to the iconic black wooden church set against lava fields and the ocean. Simple yet striking, this landmark embodies the quiet beauty and rich history of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.

• Drop-off Reykjavík City

  We will drop you off at your preferred location within Reykjavík City.
