The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis as they are called, are caused by interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole.  Northern Lights are visible in Iceland from September to April every year.  

The tour is based on weather conditions and there for it is not possible to guarantee sighting of the Northern Lights.  We never go if there is no chance of sighting.

The duration of the tour is 3 hours, but always a chance to extend the tour.

The tour starts at 22.00 pm and is private for you and your group.
