Join us on a search for the northern lights in a fully equipped coach that has wifi, usb chargers in each seat and an informative audio guide in 10 languages. Your northern lights hunt is professionally guided by a specially trained northern lights guide.

When conditions are favourable we head out to search for the Aurora Borealis, often called the Northern Lights

* We decide before 17:00 every day if conditions are favourable to go on the tour.
* The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon.
* Pictures do not always reflect actual sightings.
* Sightings cannot be guaranteed even if the tour is operated.
* If no lights are seen, you are welcome to join our Northern Lights Bus tour for free on another night. You need to re-book your tour as soon as possible by calling or e-mailing Sterna Travel.

If you have chosen to be picked up from your accommodation we kindly ask you to be outside your accommodation, or at your designated bus stop if you are staying in downtown Reykjavik, at least 30 minutes before departure time. Hotel pickup is operated by smartbus and will take you to Reykjavik Terminal, where you will board the tour bus.

If you have not chosen hotel pickup, you will need to make your way to Reykjavik Terminal and be there no later than 15 minutes before departure time.

For the In-Bus-Audio-Guide: Bring your own headphones. Otherwise headphones are available for purchase in every bus from our hosts.

For your comfort: Dress according to weather. In Iceland it is always wise to dress in warm waterproof clothes. Weather changes can be sudden so be prepared for all weather conditions. Waterproof jacket and pants, headwear and gloves, and warm socks/waterproof shoes are recommended, especially since we will be outside at night.

Please note that your tour will start from Reykjavik Terminal, Skógarhlíð 10, 105 Reykjavik. Please be there at least 15 minutes before your chosen departure time.
