Europe's Most Powerful Hot Spring

From Reykjavik, the tour heads towards the beautiful Borgarfjörður area in West Iceland. It is a scenic, approx. 2-hour drive, broken up with some amazing stops. These stops include Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring and the magnificent Hraunfossar and Barnafossar lava waterfalls. The waterfalls are not just beautiful and serene, they also come with folk tales and myths that lend insight into Icelandic history and culture.

Iceland's Largest Cave

After a lunch break in Húsafell the tour heads to Víðgelmir cave, one of the largest natural lava caves in the world and the largest of its kind in Iceland. At 148,000 m3, it is truly a sight to behold and this guided tour inside the cave is an unforgettable experience. An adventure for the senses, the cave exhibits gorgeous, colourful lava in all its grandeur, showcasing how magma flows and lava hardens.

After the cave we will return to Húsafell, where you have the option visit the geothermal pool or discover the surrounding area and take a pleasant walk through the scenic Húsafell.
