This tour by Adventure Point will begin by the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon where a Super Jeep will pick you up and take you to Breiðamerkurjökull, which is our neighbouring glacier tongue descending from the vast Vatnajökull ice cap.

Together we will explore the Ice Caves that are formed when the rivers under the glacier flow from the ice cape. It is a journey of dazzling colors and an experience you will never forget. There are opportunities for capturing breathtaking photos, ruminate on how small the human being really is or just enjoy the texture, forms and colors that appear for a few months just to disappear again.

The tours starts by the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon where a super jeep picks you up and takes you on a 40 minute journey through a snowy landscape to the caves. When we are there you will be provided with the necessary safety gear and instructions on how to navigate this breathtaking world of shapes and colors.

In total the tour takes around 2 – 3 hours depending on the conditions of the road and how long you want to stay in the caves.
