Hiking & Sailing in the Faroe Islands is a trip that connects us with the land and the sea, with the traditions and culture of the people that try every single day to take advantage of its nature in a sustainable way and without losing that innocence that only remains in these kinds of places.

The Faroe Islands are strength and beauty, which creeps our senses and rocks our soul.

In a group of maximum 12 people aboard the Norðlýsið sailboat and with its local crew, we will sail between fjords, disembarking every morning to make unique hikes across the most impressive areas that these islands give to us, such as Gásadalur, Mykines and Gjógv.

  • 1 local certified guide from Amarok Adventures.
  • Expedition sailboat for the group with a local experienced captain.
  • All the transfers
  • Accommodation in guesthouses in Vágar & Tórshavn.
  • Under-deck accommodation in the expedition sailboat in multiple room.
  • All meals during the hiking & sailing days & cooking equipment.
  • Fishing equipment for the day 7.
  • All the hiking fees.
  • Official beer OKKARA (Brown Ale) in honor to the Norðlýsið captain, during the dinners aboard.
  • Agency support 24/7.

The traveler will be informed at the time of contracting the trip of all the necessary hiking gear to bring*. If the traveler does not have the necessary material, the guide may limit his/her participation in daily activities, or even in the trip. *Please check the “Recommended hiking gear” document.

It is not necessary for the traveler to bring any kind of extra technical mountain gear.

Although the guide has a first-aid kit, each traveler must carry what they consider necessary depending on personal pathologies, needs, risks, etc. that it will be necessary to communicate to AMAROK ADVENTURES at the time of booking the trip.
