The best place in the world to photograph puffins, as they enjoy posing for photographers during the bird season (April-July). Please note that the birds have usually migrated from early August to mid August.
Rauðasandur is Iceland’s most famous beach, red coloured in a beautiful setting amidst black cliffs and blue ocean. It’s a wonderful place to fill your soul and camera with memories. We visit Hnjótur heritage museum to learn how people lived in the old days and rescued seamen from stranding ships under the cliff. Light lunch optional.
