Pick Up
Pickup from your selected location in Reykjavík begins at your tour's departure time. Please be ready at your designated spot by that time. Depending on traffic and your location, it may take up to 30 minutes for your guide to arrive. We appreciate your patience.
Hveragerði
This small town is located around 40 minutes from Reykjavík and is known for its geothermal field. We'll make a short stop here at a local bakery and shopping area. There are restrooms, a bakery, and an exhibition about earthquakes.
Gullfoss
Our adventure then leads us to the breath taking Gullfoss, aptly named the "golden waterfall," situated at the edge of the Icelandic Highlands. Cascading through the canyon of the Hvíta River, Gullfoss is fed by the Langjökull glacier and plunges an impressive 32 meters over two tiers. Regardless of the season, Gullfoss is a must-see on any journey through Iceland's natural wonders.
Geysir
Next, we visit the Geysir geothermal field, home to one of the world's most famous geysers and the very origin of the word "geyser." Here you can wander among bubbling pools, crystal-clear hot springs, and steam vents. Although Geysir itself is now dormant, its neighbour Strokkur puts on a great show, erupting every 4 to 10 minutes.
Þingvellir
Our last stop is the iconic Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park, where nature and history come together in one of Iceland's most captivating settings. The park sits in a rift valley, a visible reminder that our planet's crust is constantly moving. You'll also find Althing, Iceland's first national parliament, and stunning views of Þingvallavatn lake.
Drop Off
After a memorable day exploring Iceland's most iconic landscapes, your guide will drop you back off in Reykjavík at your chosen drop-off location.
