Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is one of the most iconic and beautiful places in Iceland and can not be missed, this private tour is the best way to experience the south coast with the glacier lagoon on top.

We will head out early to beat the traffic in the city and make the best use of the day stopping at sites like Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls with perhaps a few extra less known spots along route 1 on the south coast.

Vík and the black sand beach at Reynisfjara and the basalt columns of Reynisdrangar will be included and perhaps we will have time to check out Fjaðrárgljúfur and other spots before we get to the main site at Jökulsárlón and the Diamond beach where the icebergs return to shore to bounce around in the waves on the black sand, looking like diamonds in the daylight.

At the lagoon, there are boat tours that can be arranged in advance so make sure to add that during the booking process or ask your guide when the tour starts if that can be arranged as a part of the day.

The lagoon itself sits under the largest glacier in Iceland, Vatnajökull and you can spot the highest peak in Iceland, Hvannadalshnjúkur if the clouds allow us to on the way there.

Check out the available dates and book your private tour as soon as possible to get a chance to travel to these sites in the comfort of a high-end vehicle and the hands of a knowledgeable guide.

The many highlights of this tour along the South Coast of Iceland include visiting some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland; Seljalandsfoss, Gljufrabui, Skogafoss as well as the Black Beach of Reynisfjara and the amazing Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon.
