You can look inside the plant's turbine halls, check out hands-on and informative displays, and find out about our work with Carbfix, a project that helps store CO2. You'll see how we make electricity for the country and provide hot water for the area around the capital.
You then continue heading east to the town of Hveragerði and about 4 minutes after driving through the town, you will find Mega Zipline Iceland. Mega Zipline Iceland is a thrilling zipline adventure featuring Iceland's longest ziplines. It offers breathtaking views of the country's landscapes, providing an adrenaline-filled experience for both thrill-seekers and nature lovers. You are booked for the conventional ride (seated) but it is always possible to upgrade to Superman ride (lying) on site, as long as there is availability.
