Elves, trolls and hidden people
Experience the magical world of elves, trolls, and hidden people on this delightful 3 - 4-hour journey.
We'll meet at a designated location in the city. Our first stop takes us to Hamarinn (The Cliff), a picturesque hill in Hafnarfjörður, offering wonderful views of the capital area and, allegedly, the abode of majestic elves. Next, we immerse ourselves in the tranquility of Hvaleyrarvatn, a serene lake embraced by tranquil woods, where we'll enjoy a light snack amidst nature's peace. Prepare to be enchanted as we visit the Maríuhellar caves in Heiðmörk, where tales of trolls, hidden people, and outlaws come to life, immersing you in Iceland's rich folklore. As we wind down, relish in light yoga stretches in the beautiful Heiðmörk forest, where we will walk up to a viewpoint for stunning views of the Reykjanes peninsula. Maybe we will catch a glimpse of the frequent volcanic eruptions in the area! Finally, if your schedule allows, our journey ends at one of Reykjavík's public pools, where you can bathe and bask in the warm waters before returning to your designated stop.
