This day tour will take you to see Katla Ice Cave or “The Secret Ice Cave”, and the glacier itself, present you with black, white, and blue ice that is over 800 years old! Inside the cave there are high walls of ice that have been sculpted by glacial water throughout the centuries. Water drips all around and the air is cold and fresh. The beautiful Seljalandsfoss behind which a path allows you to walk, followed by the mighty Skógafoss waterfall; walk and drive on black sand beaches pounded by the Atlantic surf and see the bird cliffs that surround the quaint coastal village of Vík. On the way home, we drive past the greenhouse town of Hveragerði, a place named after the abundant geothermal activity in the area which allows the locals to grow all kinds of plants and produce in row upon row in greenhouses. The sights on this Iceland South shore and Katla ice Cave are impressive, and exploring them in a Superjeep makes the experience even more memorable. Kayak On Lake. The popular 1 hour kayak trip (without guide) is a particularly interesting possibility for families and individuals, and especially for those with little to no previous kayaking experience. Participants can explore on their own in and around the amazing labyrinth-like waterways. Notice that the area is absolutely safe and is great for beginners. Kayak by the Glacier (between June 1st and September 30th) Easy kayaking tour on Sólheimajökull Glacier Lagoon Glacier Hike A fun and easy Glacier Walk tour on the Sólheimajökull Glacier in South Iceland. Katla Ice Cave in the glacier mýrdalsjökull present you with black, white, and blue ice that is over 800 years old. Horse Riding This one hour riding tour is a great option for the whole family. The beautiful landscape in the Ölfus area is perfect for a short riding tour where you will get in touch with the friendly Icelandic horse. Helicopter back to Reykjavík and drop off to your Hotel (max 5 persons per Helicopter, price per Helicopter ). From the Eyjafjallajökull glacier area or Skogarfoss waterfall you can take helicopter back to Reykjavík to make your journey more memorable. From Rate you can choose whether you travel in in our famous Superjeep (up to 6 persons) or Monster truck (up to 10 persons) or in Luxury SUV (up to 6 persons) . The main difference is that we do not go off road on Luxury SUV and you will have easier access and more comfort. It is important to understand that in Iceland you can experience all four seasons in less than one day. It is vital to wear comfortable and appropriate clothing like waterproof, walking shoes, dress in layers to be able to enjoy your journey to the fullest. The tour runs all year around.
