Combine an exciting diving tour of Silfra and a fun horseback riding tour in the scenic Mosfell valley!

Silfra is a crack in the earth between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. This remarkable fissure is filled with the glacial water and with over 100 meters visibility underwater, it is among the clearest bodies of water on our planet.

On the diving tour we will dress you in a dry suit and guide you through the four parts of the Silfra fissure. Floating through Silfra's crystal clear water is an otherworldly experience; the near-freezing water, astonishing colors, and sensation of flying provide a very unique environment for liquid meditation that you will never forget.

After your diving tour, we will drive you to Laxnes Horse Farm (about 30 minutes) where you will join your horseback riding tour. Suitable for beginners and experts alike, a horseback riding tour on Icelandic horses is an adventure to remember. Get ready to be charmed by the breathtaking scenery of the Mosfell valley!

You can also choose the option that does not include transportation and use your own car to get to Silfra and to the horse farm.

We will pick you up at any centrally located accommodation in Reykjavík. Due to city council regulation, we are only allowed to pick up our customers from selected bus stops around the downtown Reykjavik area. You can find your closest bus stop on https://busstop.is/ – all you need to do is type your accommodation address in the top search bar.

A map showing the meeting point at Silfra can be seen HERE. Please note that it takes about an hour to drive to Silfra from Reykjavík. The Information Center has a gift shop, cafe, and restrooms.
Please note that the Silfra car park is restricted to commercial vehicle parking. Your parking lot is P5, about a 5 minute walk down the road from Silfra. The National Park charges a fee for car parking to be paid at myparking.is.

PLEASE BRING: your diving certification card, dry suit diving certification or written proof of 10 dry suit dives within the last two years, long thermal underwear and two pairs of thick wool socks. Please be sure to fill out the required Medical Statement by following this link: www.checkin.dive.is
