A Food Private Tour
On the West Coast
This is a food-centered journey where you will sample local delicacies at different farms between stops at scenic locations in the West of Iceland.
This is for all you food lovers out there. The perfect opportunity to have an amazing Icelandic food experience, catered by locals at some of the country's favorite local farms. We begin this delicious journey at Háafell goat farm, where we will taste creamy and delightful goat cheese while learning all there is to know about the Icelandic goat. After Háafall we continue to Húsafell where lunch awaits.
Taking a break from eating, we stop at the picturesque Hraunfossar, a series of waterfalls formed by multiple rivulets streaming out of a lava field.
Next Steðji brewery will welcome us for a beer tasting session. This small family-owned brewery has gained considerable attention for their selection of beers brewed with fresh glacial water, and for producing beers with unique flavorings.
Finally, we visit Bjarteyjarsandur family farm to try out some local foods. This farm focuses on producing high quality products, made in an environmentally sustainable way. The menu consists of dishes made from local products from the farm and surrounding areas, as the staff tells the stories behind each dish as well as describing the life at a an Icelandic sheep farm.
